This position requires a full 3 years of ICU experience to be considered.The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience and hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and AZ license or compact license.Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed.Flexibility is a must.Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with the first day instructions).Job Requirements
A full 3 years of recent ICU experience required.Experience must also include either neuro or CV.Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position.Pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation.Schedule Information
Self scheduling. Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs.3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday. Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday.May have 1 holiday off in an assignment.No additional call/standby shifts required. However, may be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs.Unit Specific Information
Self scheduling is available, block scheduling may be balanced for unit needs.Minimum every other weekend requirements (may work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage).Flexible to float to telemetry with a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio as needed.Surgical ICU - Trauma Neuro Surgery unit information is provided.Medical ICU - Medical Cardiac + Overflow unit information is provided.CVICU details provided including experience with on and off pump CABG, Valves, Post Caths, TAVR, IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
