Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,568 per week

Certification Details ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are required Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Telemetry nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIH and CA License. Job Requirements 2 full years of experience as a Telemetry nurse Hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and CA License Able to read & interpret all cardiac rhythms (Tele: Phillips) Must be able to handle a patient ratio of 1 to 4 Floor specific orientation: 1-2 shifts w/ preceptor Must be able to work with common diagnosis/types of patients: Post pacer, hemodialysis, no cardiac/surgical patients, new onset afib, or RVR, stepdown from ICU, surgical patients, sepsis, etc. Schedule Information Shifts are 12 hours from 7 to 7:30 Weekend Requirement: 4 shifts out of 4 week schedule Block scheduling allowed if the needs of the unit are met, but not guaranteed Unit Specific Information Unit: 4W Telemetry Average patient ratio is 1 to 4 Primary patient types: Post pacer, hemodialysis patients, and those with conditions such as new onset afib, RVR, sepsis, strokes, TBI Additional Details Cerner EMR experience required Travelers are the first to float between units when necessary Expected to work into the perm staff holiday rotation schedule Scrubs: Navy blue color requirement
