to its surrounding communities by overseeing a highly productive team of Imaging Professionals.
Modalities overseen include:General and Pediatric UltrasoundMammographyCT ScansMRI
This managerial and operational position is structured under the Ambulatory Service Department, focusing its scope solely on Outpatient Imaging Services at 4 locations including Memorial City OPID, Memorial City Breast Center, Great Heights Convenient Care Center and Hedwig Village Imaging Center.
Previous Director experience within a large complex organization is highly preferred

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an approved school Business or Radiology Technology, Masters in Business preferred
Licenses/Certifications : (None)
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:Five (5) years of experience in an Outpatient Imaging Services setting preferredMinimum of three years of supervisory experience in Outpatient Healthcare Business or Retail BusinessExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional facilitation, consulting, management, business, and customer service skills
Principal AccountabilitiesSupervises all department personnel issues including personnel selection, termination, counseling, and evaluating performance. Directs work and trains department personnel.Reviews the assigned facility for compliance with all codes, rules and regulations regarding Imaging instrumentation and machinery.Helps develop and monitor the facility's annual capital and operating budget including projections in personnel, gross and net operating income and expenses. Monitors monthly financial reports and reports variances.Interfaces with physicians, physician liaisons, and employees to promote business development.Monitors, reviews, and controls the ordering and stocking of consumable supplies.Inspects physical condition of facility and takes appropriate corrective actions.Oversees the imaging equipment management and preventive maintenance program. Develops and implements procedures to ensure quality control for the facility.Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of servicePromotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences. Models Memorial Hermann's service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.Other duties as assigned.
