Deaconess Midtown Hospital, Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / TelemetryCardiac Renal Unit MS/Tele RN - Nights - Deaconess MidtownMinimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Tele/M/S, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experienceCharting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)Patient Population: High acuity – Tele/M/S, Cardiac heavy (Afib with RVR, Afib, flutter, blocks), heart cath without interventions, CHF, COPD, sepsis, BH/CIWA, post ablations, dialysisSkillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, Initiate/titrate drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, etc.), PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stable drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), antidysrhythmic (cardizem, tikosyn dosing, amio), nephrostomy tubesMust have strong assessment and critical thinking skills! Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidatesUnit Strengths: Excellent retention and experience on unit. Manager has been over the unit for 15+ years and has built a strong team!
