The Maintenance Examiner is responsible for the training and proficiency of SES Pilots.
Essential Functions:
* Provides flight instruction as aircraft instructor pilot.
* Conducts aircrew training flights.
* Provides flight training on procedures, aircraft systems, operational procedures, emergency procedures, malfunction analysis, navigation, aerodynamics, radio operations.
* Conduct hands-on flight exams in aircraft as well as oral and written flight exams.
* Provides both inflight instruction and exams along with written and oral instructions and exams.
* Performs other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
Education:o FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot rating and the appropriate category endorsements.o Must have rotorcraft helicopter CFI/CFII or DOD rotary wing instructor rating, Minimum 500 hours in category.o Must have a current FAA Second Class Medical Certificate-Graduate of DES
Experience:o Minimum 1000 hours in category.o Instrument instructors, additionally, 150 hours minimum of hood, weather and simulator time combined.
