A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced ER/Emergency Room RNs for a travel assignment.The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC.Also must have an active AZ license or compact.Job Requirements

Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 1p-1aWeekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month, at unit discretionUnit Specific Information
Unit: ED / Trauma# beds: Acute - 36 and Subacute - 54. Trauma bays - 6 (no travelers)Ratios: 1:4 ratioEMR: CernerCharge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs - will task or have light patient load.Nurse Aides: 4-PCTs for sitters.Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month, at unit discretionScrub Color: NavyTele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read strips.Vents: Managed by RTHospitalist or Intensivists in house: Minimum of 2 MDs or as many as 8. Midlevels also utilized. AnesthesiaIV Team: Core RNs are US trained.RT 24/7: YesPharmacy 24/7: Yes, Pharmacist in ER 10hrs/dayFloating: Float within ER.Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts on the floor.Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trauma, Burns and Peds transferred out.
