A Financial Analyst will perform and assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial training, capital planning, revenue auditing, cash handling and revenue management analysis for Winter Park Resort (WPR). They will follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Review and provide analysis of daily, weekly and monthly financial statements for all business units to ensure strong financial performance.Prepare/review month-end journal entries and CAS entries. Assist with the month-end close.Prepare/review and assist with balance sheet account reconciliations and determine appropriate adjusting entries.Communicate with operational directors and managers - regarding policies and procedures and hold them accountable for their operations' financial results.Assist with developing the annual business plans and operating budgets, capital plan and budgets and the 5-year plan.Assist with developing monthly EBITDA forecasts to ensure adherence to WPR's business plan.Assist with reporting on capital projects throughout the year, to ensure adherence to the annual capital budget. This includes but is not limited to: project financial management, project opening and project closing.Assist with the year-end audit.Create the monthly internal forecast and variance files for distribution, lead the roll up of variance file.Help train teams on budgeting software. First point of contact for budgeting software queries.Verify and ensure accurate daily reporting of operations revenue.Assist Revenue Accounting staff with any cash handling needs.Participate in the creation, support and enforcement of policies, procedures and internal accounting controls.Provide assistance and research to resolve accounting issues.Assist with the collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable.Assists with preparation and provides financial training to other divisions.Interprets and communicates complex accounting, analysis, and business information.Prepares new business financial analysis.Develops reports to track key performance measures to aid management in proactively monitoring business performance.Other duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Performance record should show success working with all levels of management and personnel.Must demonstrate a broad technical knowledge of all aspects of accounting.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, strong knowledge of Excel, and computer functionality required.Valid Colorado Driver's License and clean motor vehicle record desirable.Clean credit score.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
BS in Finance or Accounting.Experience:
2-5 years of experience in financial/business analysis or general accounting.Experience working with financial systems. Prior D365 experience preferred.WAGE:
The base hourly pay/salary range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort's hourly pay/salary range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resort's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Salary range: $58,000 - $79,000
