CT Tech position available.Orientation is bi-weekly.Duke Lifepoint Hospital with 154 beds including Orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, behavioral health, and 11 multi-specialty physician clinics.Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission Accredited.Home to part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.Job Requirements
Minimum Education: Graduate of an approved course in Radiologic Technology.Minimum Work Experience: One or more years of experience in CT, hold a CT registry or CT registry-eligible.Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision, work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).Required Licenses: Radiologic Technologist and Technician must be ARRT registered.Schedule Information
Shift: Must be able to work Wednesday 830-9, Thursday 830-9, and Friday 7-730 with rotating call hours.Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40.Weekend Hours: only if PTO.Call Requirements: On call a couple of nights a week, rotated with other techs.Unit Specific Information
Floor: Radiology.Facility Department/Cost Center: 726.Role: Radiology Tech.Specialty: CT and, if possible, MRI.Number of Openings: 1.Float Requirements: MRI if possible.Unit Information: Number of Beds: 154.Patient Ratios: 20-30 per tech for two techs.Equipment: GE.EHR: Paragon.Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, and some peds.Common Diagnosis/Treatment: All types.Preferred Skillset/Experience: MRI.Must Have Skills/Experience: Must be able to perform CT procedures such as biopsy, drainage, Coronary CTA, and Nerve Root blocks or be able to perform fluoro on the CT machine.Dress Code: Scrubs Color: black. Unacceptable attire: t-shirts and hoodies.Additional Details
