Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 5 years of current RRT experience License: Massachusetts Certifications: - PALS (AHA) - ACLS - NRP - BLS (AHA) - NBRC Must-Have: - Ability to cross-train in the cardio aspects of the department, such as EKG, stress tests, Holter monitors, event monitors, and EEGs. - Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred. - Must have their own vehicle for this assignment. Job Description: - Perform various technical duties to administer complex cardiopulmonary care treatments to patients according to the physician’s verbal or written orders. - Work two of the following holiday rotations: Thanksgiving and the weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the weekend after. - Every other weekend/holiday rotation required. - Ensure high patient satisfaction and experience, aligning with the hospital's commitment to exceptional healthcare. - Engage in a supportive work environment dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of the community. Additional Requirements: - A work history and skills checklist pertinent to the position, current to within one year. - At least one supervisory-signed reference from employment in the past two years. - All certifications and licenses must be uploaded with the profile; pending certifications are not accepted. - Willingness to work as needed, with no block scheduling available. Note: Applicants must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be considered. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload.
