Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an individual who can work in a fast paced, high volume clinic who is efficient, patient and compassionate. The ideal candidate will have a proven history working well with children and adults, well-organized and able to carry out patient studies as well as patient dosing and daily camera and hot lab QCs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include performing brain SPECT scans, as well as related general quality assurance procedures, performing brain SPECT scan, patient preparation of IV, perform annual geometry and accuracy test on dose calibrator, manage medical supplies inventory, other responsibilities as assigned/required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required.State license to practice in the state of Ca.Minimum 1 year of NMT experience is required.Familiarity with brain imaging a plus.Must be familiar with performing brain SPECT scans.
