Manpower Engineering is looking for a Controls Engineer to work onsite at our client’s plant in Harrodsburg, KY.

Overview:
Provide subject matter expertise and technical support for ongoing operation and maintenance of facilities control systems
Manage capital projects related to system upgrades and/or energy Improvement projects
Actively participate with the division resources to develop, define, and re-enforce standard equipment devices, controllers, components, and software
Actively participate in, and support design reviews for all new equipment configurations / software.
Perform the necessary rigor to ensure standard designs are included in Rebuild Appropriation Requests and installed according to the standard.
Travel Requirements:
International and domestic travel required (less than 15%).
Required Education and Experience:
BS or MS BSEE or BSEET
3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong, demonstrated experience with industrial controls, field instrumentation, HMI software, PLC code, and control platforms
Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries and integrate solutions
Ability to use the scientific method and engineering principles to solve problems thoroughly and effectively
Ability to translate engineering solutions to process requirements that deliver and/or improve performance criteria
Ability to multitask and prioritize work on an independent basis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
Results oriented and high commitment
