Pediatric Dental Associates is seeking a passionate Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.
As an EFDA, you'll have the chance to showcase your expanded skills and knowledge, assisting our dentist in a variety of procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals. You'll take and develop dental X-rays, manage patient records, and provide education on oral hygiene and post-operative care. And, of course, you'll do it all with a friendly and empathetic approach that makes our patients feel at ease.

Location:2301 E. Allegheny Avenue Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19134 United States
Schedule: Monday 7:15 am - 7:00 pm, Tuesday 7:15 am - 4:30 pm, Wednesday 7:15 am - 4:30 pm, Thursday 7:15 - 3:30 pm, Friday 7:15 am - 3:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (1xmonth)
Responsibilities:Assist the dentist during a variety of dental proceduresPerform expanded functions, including restorations, extractions, and root canalsTake and develop dental X-raysManage patient records and maintain accurate documentationPrepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instrumentsEducate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative careProvide excellent customer service and patient careQualifications:Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of PennsylvaniaDemonstrated desire to work in a pediatric settingHigh school diploma or equivalentRadiology certificationCPR certification
