Therapist III functions as a member of a team providing substance abuse services. Responsibilities include performing initial and on-going diagnostic assessments; developing individualized service plans; providing clinical treatment, behavior interventions, AoD case management, consultation, and prevention education services to community site staff, patients and their family members and referral sources. Therapist is expected to contribute to the substance abuse services team’s achieving established productivity standards, and assist in developing and implementing program improvements.

Services will be delivered primarily at agency’s main office. Services may also be delivered in the community Therapist assists Director in reviewing and signing clinical charts, assisting in the monitoring of daily operations within the substance abuse services, and being responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of assigned departmental projects. Duties will also include other job related tasks as directed by the Director of Substance Abuse services.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Master’s degree in a relevant social science field.
· Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with CCDC credentials or a scope of practice in chemical dependency or Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
· Training and experience in the types of services provided by the team, with age appropriate competency, using the Diagnostic and Statistical manual of Mental Disorders (DSM- 5)
