*Reports To:* Clinical Director / Program Director
*Job Summary:*
The Master-Level Clinician will provide comprehensive clinical services to clients enrolled in the intensive outpatient substance use and mental health treatment programs. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
*Key Responsibilities:** *Clinical Services:** Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine appropriate levels of care.* Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients’ needs, strengths, and goals.* Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to clients.* Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups focusing on substance use and mental health topics.* *Case Management:** Coordinate and manage care for clients, including referrals to additional services as needed.* Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.* Maintain regular contact with clients' families, support systems, and other service providers as appropriate.* *Documentation and Compliance:** Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical services, treatment plans, and client progress in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.* Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards.* Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to program evaluations and improvements.* *Collaboration and Teamwork:** Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, counselors, and support staff.* Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and staff training sessions.* Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to interns and junior staff as needed.* *Crisis Intervention:** Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services as needed.* Develop and implement crisis management plans for clients in acute distress.* *Community Engagement:** Engage with community resources to enhance client support networks and facilitate continuity of care.* Represent the facility at community events and outreach activities as needed.
*Qualifications:** *Education:* Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.* *Licensure:** Must hold a valid clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in the state of [State].* *Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a substance use and mental health treatment setting.* Experience with intensive outpatient programs preferred.* *Skills:** Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.* Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.* *Other Requirements:** Must pass a background check and drug screening.* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
*Working Conditions:** Work is performed in an intensive outpatient treatment facility setting.* May involve exposure to clients in acute distress or experiencing crisis situations.
