Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Please utilize the formatting Data Collection : Unit Information: NICU Location: Good Samaritan Hospital Address: 2425 Samaritan Drive San Jose, CA 95124 Floor:2 nd floor Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds -51 Number of Staff 100 Type of staff: o Day Shift Charge RN, Transport RN, relief RN 1-2, resource RN, clerk, and RN staff o Night Shift Charge RN, ,Transport RN, relief RN 1-2, Resource RNclerk, and RN staff Patient Ratios California state law, 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 Type of equipment HF Jet Vents, HFOVs, aEEG, Whole Body Cooling EMR Meditech and CPN Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Level 3 experience 2 years minimum NRP, BLS Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Previous travel experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Intubation, central lines, PDA ligation, chest tubes Whole Body Cooling aEEG monitoring Lumbar Punctures Umbilical Line Placements RN PICC team Penrose drain placaement GI surgeries Best personality Fit: Flexible and adaptable Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color - no specific color, but no street clothes allowed, scrub jackets only, short sleeve tshirt under scrubs ok, no long sleeves Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
