RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.Target Ratios: 1:6-7 (Must be comfortable with these ratios)Shift: 12HR NIGHTS. 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours.Contract Length: Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Severe injury to the bones, joints, and/or soft tissue. Traumatic brain injuries. Spine injuries, pain. Neurological trauma/nerve damage (small population). Subdural hematoma.UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBARUNIT ORIENTATION: 12-hour unit orientation. 16-hour organizational education.SCRUBS: NavyJob Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: Required 2 year of experience required in last 5 yearsTraveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelersLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: YesSkills: Must be able to take heparin drips, PCA, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management, Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, IV starts, Active RN license required, Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Traumatic Brain injury, ortho trauma, surgical drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound careEpic documentation experience requiredSchedule Information

Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
