StoryHub .Description and RequirementsThe Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is hiring for a Director of Category, Strategic Deal Management. Reporting to the Executive Director, ISG COO and Strategy, this role will be responsible for coordinating with the International Sales Organization (ISO), ISG, and GSC to maximize the profitability of complex deals and track, analyze, and measure profit recovery plans for strategic deals.Key Objectives of Position:Develop the framework and process for ESMB business cases for sales opportunities, including deal modelling and scenario generation to enable profitable decisions.Work with various ISG functions to improve profitability of sales opportunities, including optimizing components and costs in bids, evaluating excess inventory, and collaborating with GSC on supply status.Influence and partner with key internal stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain to improve pricing and drive profitability.Analyze pricing data to produce insights and price recommendations for cross/upsell and cost-saving opportunities.Day-To-Day Responsibilities:Determine and guide on the profitability of significant or complex ISG deals, advising sales/senior leadership on impacts to revenue and margin objectives.Collaborate with sales to secure deal funding for large and complex acquisition pursuits.Work closely with Product Marketing to ensure alignment on market models, configurations, and price points.Identify opportunities for profit improvement through revenue or cost positioning analysis.Build and maintain a centralized catalog of deal details and actual profit recovery plans for future analysis.Provide regular updates to management on business improvement plans, including profit opportunities and strategies.Basic Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to apply a commercial lens to financial and pricing models.Highly developed Excel and analytical skills.Comfortable working with and resolving ambiguity and adapting to changing business needs.10+ years of experience.Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively.Ability to build rapport and work with teams locally and overseas with conflicting priorities.Preferred Qualifications:Sales and bid management experience.Demonstrated experience in pricing and deal structuring within a commercial environment.5+ years of analytical experience within marketing, sales, or finance.Pricing experience, especially with the use of PROS in a commercial environment.Tertiary Qualifications in Finance or a related field.Desirable Characteristics:Dynamic problem solver, naturally curious, enthusiastic, self-starter with attention to detail.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, or any federal, state, or local protected class.Additional Locations:United States of America - North Carolina - MorrisvilleUnited States of America
