The Loss Prevention / Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of The Arrabelle colleagues, guests, owners, and property assets.

Job Specifications:

Outlet: The ArrabelleExpected Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 / hourShift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round

7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00PM, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AMMinimum of 01-year commitment

Skill Level: IntermediateJob Responsibilities:

Detects potential sources of security and safety hazards, responds to emergencies, handles complaints, investigates and compiles reports in a professional and hospitable mannerMonitor CCTV security surveillance systemMaintain accurate records while performing daily duties including camera monitoring, shift activity, guest and employee incidentsResolve difficult guest situations in a professional and hospitable mannerTrain/educate hotel employees on current safety issues to ensure compliance with all company loss control policies and current security and safety regulationsLiaison fire protection and life safety throughout the hotel as an ambassador to uphold company standards and goalsRegulate access control services throughout the hotel for employees and guestsHandle all medical-related situationsMust be able to communicate with management and colleagues in an effective and professional mannerMust be able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor during various situationsMust be able to work all shifts with minimal supervisionMust be able to learn quickly to work in various situationsComplete all and any tasks assigned in a timely manner to the expected level established by the hotel and loss prevention managerOther duties as assignedRequired Skills:

High School Diploma, Tech or Trade School. -requiredBasic computer skills. -requiredCPR / First Aid / AED certifications. -preferredEMT certification. -preferredPrevious law enforcement, security, EMS, and/or fire experience. -preferredPrevious experience in security or loss prevention. -preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. -requiredMust be able to communicate effectively and tactfully in English, both written and verbal. -requiredConversational Spanish or other languages helpful. -preferredMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs. -requiredMust be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. -requiredMust have a valid Colorado Driver's License. -requiredMust be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnight shifts. -required

The expected pay range is $22.00 - $24.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
