The small but mighty Marketing team at
incident.io
is responsible for accelerating revenue growth. As our only Product Marketer, you’ll work directly with the CMO to develop product messaging and positioning, sales plays, campaigns, go-to-market programs, and sales enablement. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in establishing
incident.io
as the market leader in incident response, guiding us through our hypergrowth phase. How will you do this? By creating remarkable content that sparks interest, builds sales pipeline, and ultimately wins new customers. What you’ll be doing:
Understanding our market and customers
by conducting research with customers and prospects to identify needs, preferences, and pain points. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies while mapping the competitive landscape.
Empowering sales to hit their number
by synthesizing customer challenges, market insights, and product benefits to create impactful sales enablement materials. Develop resources such as sales scripts, presentations, one-pagers, battle cards, and case studies to equip the sales team to hit their number every quarter.
Translating insights to clear, impactful messaging
and creating compelling and differentiated narratives that communicate the value we deliver to customers. You will develop a deep understanding of customer personas and pain points to inform messaging and positioning.
Influencing marketing strategy
and collaborating with Marketing to infuse product messaging across the website, customer-facing communication, marketing campaigns and content strategy.
Strengthening product launches
by developing and executing strategies to drive adoption and success of
incident.io
products. Infuse customer empathy and market insights into every touchpoint of the customer journey.
What you need to be successful:
You’ll need a
strong product marketing foundation , and you’ve probably read the book ‘Obviously Awesome’ a few times.
We’re a startup, so you’ll need to be a self-starter
with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Exceptional ability to influence and build trust
across all organizational functions and levels.
Relevant experience with personas and products
in the software engineering space. You might even have your own GitHub account!
Ability to communicate complex and technical ideas
simply and effectively both internally and externally.
Salary and Equity
The salary for this position is determined by several job-related factors, such as experience, relevant skills, training, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 in London and $125,000 - $175,000 in San Francisco. The position also offers equity options. Our commitment to diversity
