Primary Purpose:
The Store Sales Manager is the driver of total store sales, customer experience, overall operational excellence and our high performance selling culture. The Store Sales Manager has primary responsibility for the management of the store, including directing the work of direct reports and is responsible for the culture, associate and engagement.
Salary:
$62,000 - 70,000 + bonus + tips
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the overall store
Leads financial growth of the store year over year
Leads the sales floor and drives store results through the store team
Role models, coaches and develops best-in-class selling behaviors
Sets visual merchandising expectations to brand standards, to ensure brand consistency that impacts the customer experience and maximizes overall business results
Ensures the operations of the store are executed with excellence
Accountable for the development of associates product knowledge which in turn, enables high performance selling
Influences and inspires associates to unlock individual potential for extraordinary selling and productivity results
Owns workforce management, including talent productivity decisions, writing the weekly schedule and ensuring state specific compliance
Accountable for the selection and development of top talent within the total store
Responsible for the talent life cycle of direct reports, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, development, performance management, terminations and succession planning
All retail employees at Nectar Bath Treats are responsible for:
Driving top line store sales results and growing the business through action and productivity
Creating customer awareness of programs and promotions available to them to build customer loyalty, when applicable
Setting personal goals and tracking individual and team performance to the goals
Preparing for each shift by maintaining awareness of all sales, promotions and applicable POS procedures
Taking initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sell
Understanding and adhering to visual merchandising brand standards
Assisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issues
Keeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss prevention
Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment
Understanding and demonstrating Company values
Leads and or participates in the company’s personal development and philanthropic initiatives

Qualifications:
Previous experience leading leaders and associate teams
Proven ability to lead a pay for performance selling team is preferred
Demonstrates ability to improve customer satisfaction and drive loyalty
Proven ability to effectively delegate, follow up and communicate with all levels of the organization
Demonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities with time management and organizational skills
Demonstrates ability to assess talent, coach, develop and manage performance
Demonstrates business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills
Demonstrates excellent visual merchandising skills
Demonstrates strong product knowledge
Enjoys fostering positive interactions with individuals of all age groups, particularly children.
Comfortable adhering to a uniform policy, including wearing a distinctive pink apron.
Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and proficient in restocking, cleaning, and conducting inventory counts.
Adherence to a no-facial-piercing policy.
Embraces a family-focused company culture; covers any inappropriate tattoos during work hours.
Schedule flexibility to include nights and weekends. Must be able to work holidays.
