If you answered yes to the above, we are looking for YOU!We are currently seeking an Account Director to join our team in San Francisco with in-depth tech and/or telecom experience. In this role, you’ll help lead some of our biggest consumer and B2B technology accounts, while building strong client relationships and driving results.This role is responsible for driving the success of client relationships; developing a deep understanding of their businesses to develop programs that deliver tangible results for them.You would be responsible for working with cross-functional teams in the planning and executional oversight of strategic earned media and digital initiatives, including the development of campaigns, content creation and measuring the effectiveness of our initiatives.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and manage day-to-day relationships with key clients as their “go-to” at Weber Shandwick.Own responsibilities for executional leadership of multiple client programs, budgets, timelines and plans.Assist in the development of long-term client plans and program recommendations, developing budgets and generating recommendations.Drive development of end-to-end campaign plans, translating strategies into tactics; ensure team deliverables align with strategies.Proactively support and suggest improvements to exceed client expectations by leveraging industry knowledge and experience.Manage ongoing team resourcing/staffing to ensure successful delivery of work.Develop and manage timelines and weekly action plans to ensure all deadlines on client programs are met.Build and own productive relationships with multiple stakeholders (e.g. brand managers), interagency teams, and a diverse array of agency colleagues.Maintain profitability and financial health of client relationships.Motivate the team by bringing a positive, solutions-focused attitude to everything you do.Lead a high-performing team and mentor junior team members.KEY QUALIFICATIONS

8-10 years of communications experience, ideally with a focus on technology and/or telecom industries.Agency experience (strongly preferred) and/or experience with leading tech brands.Excellent knowledge of the Canadian media and social landscape.Are both a creative and a strategic thinker.A track record in building strong client relationships and leading teams that deliver results.Proven experience building teams, empathetically managing and mentoring junior staff and working as a team-player in a cross-functional setting.The Weber Shandwick Collective recognizes that your health and wellbeing are a priority.
