The General Manager is responsible for achieving maximum sales and optimum profit, mentoring, and creating a cohesive team of high-performing management and staff, and acting as the backup when the General Manager is not available. This position must maintain an open line of communication among staff while liaising between Store Operations and Corporate Directive. As one of the leading managers of the store, the GM is responsible for people development, P&Ls, and upholding the highest standard of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) while supporting 85°C's key vision and directive.

We are currently seeking a

General Manager

Essential Functions:

Meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives; maintain high personal sales level and drive store results through others.

Support the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse pool of talent.

Deliver the highest level of customer service to each guest. Drive customer service by coaching and modeling the desired behaviors.

Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety.

Monitor and meet performance standards, including but not limited to 85°C policies, core values, and standard operating procedures.

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma; AA degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Minimum Experience:

Two (2) years of store management experience in a bakery, restaurant, or fast-food environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent interpersonal skills, with high self-confidence and the ability to clearly communicate complex information.

In-depth understanding of 85°C products and future concepts.

Demonstrated success in Training, Operations Development, and Customer Service.

Maintain and foster an owner mentality among self and all subordinate managers.

Personal familiarity with daily store operations, from opening to closing.

Experience in management of high-volume stores, in direct supervision of ten (10) or more employees.

Ability to work full-time, including nights and weekend hours.

This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
