The Lennar Technology Group (LTG) Senior Director is responsible for developing and executing the organization's Technology strategy, leading multiple IT teams, and ensuring the technology application footprint and systems support the organization’s business goals. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of technology trends, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive digital transformation across the organization. The IT Senior Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership to align IT initiatives with overall business strategies.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement long-term technology strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Work closely with executive leadership to identify opportunities for leveraging technology to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Lead the development and execution of major IT initiatives, including digital transformation, SaaS adoption, and emerging technology advancement.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT Directors, Managers, and other senior IT professionals across various functions (e.g. applications, technical analysis, business analysis and project/program management). Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and performance management to the corporate systems team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the LTG department.
- Identify and nurture high-potential employees, providing opportunities for professional growth and leadership development.
Technology Innovation and Digital Transformation:
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative solutions to enhance business capabilities.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives that improve customer experiences, optimize business processes, and increase operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to ensure the organization remains competitive.
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, methodologies, and policies ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory requirements
Financial Management and Budgeting:
- Develop and manage the LTG department budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and efficient use of resources.
- Oversee financial planning and investment in LTG applications, systems, and services, ensuring ROI on technology investments.
- Monitor IT expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Act as a strategic partner to business units, understanding their needs and aligning IT services to meet those needs.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution of LTG projects and initiatives.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of LTG goals and challenges.
Vendor and Partner Management:
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors, participate in contracts negotiations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Evaluate and select third-party solutions that align with the organization’s technology strategy.
- Collaborate with external partners to drive innovation and address LTG challenges.
Metrics/Dashboards
- Develop and manage the LTG department's metrics (budgets, project management. Organizational goals)

- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree in IT Management, Business Administration (MBA), or related fields is often preferred.
- Experience
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, managing large teams and complex IT environments.
- Skills
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation efforts.
- Strong executive presence, leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Saas Platforms, ERPs, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing IT budgets.
- Ability to manage risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Knowledge of the business processes, functions, and challenges of the company and its industry.
- Strong project management, budgeting, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
