Job Description
The position of Material Handler is responsible for assisting the Powder Coat team with material requisitions. This is a fast-paced position and requires the worker to retrieve and deliver products with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. The individual filling this role will work closely with peers and supervisors on a daily basis. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as basic computer knowledge. The Material Handler must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Attendance and punctuality are essential.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in loading and unloading of product using pallet jacks and forkliftsBackfill other team activities including material requisition and receivingWork in a time-efficient manner and at a productive pace without direct supervisionUse computer and/or tablet to log warehouse movementsTimely Internal movement of raw material, WIPs and finished products as required during manufacturing process.Skills and Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 poundsKnowledge of basic warehouse and receiving processesAbility to produce quality work at a fast pace, standing on feet all daySelf-motivated with ability to work independently and proficientlyDetail oriented, organized and able to handle a high volume of product safely and efficientlyProfessional demeanor with co-workers, suppliers and customers if necessaryClearly read, write and comprehend EnglishUse a hand truck and pallet jackEducation
High School diploma or GED.Hourly Range
$22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Day Shift:
Starting at 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday*We will transition to 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday once the facility is operating at full capacity.
