Harborview Medical Center – Radiology has an outstanding opportunity for a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST, CT.

WORK SCHEDULE- 90% FTE; 36 hours per week; 3 x 12 hour shifts- Currently Available Shifts Include: Night Shift (7pm-7:30am) & Day Shift (7am-7:30pm)

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONAdvanced diagnostic imaging, specialized clinical expertise. Radiology Services at Harborview Medical Center offers a full complement of radiology tests and imaging procedures, including nuclear medicine and interventional radiology (angiography).

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform skilled radiographic procedures that assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients.

Provide the appropriate education to patients and their families prior to and post Radiology procedure.

Participate in the Department QA and QC functions by assisting in the collection of data, and making recommendations as to problems and possible solutions and assist in the orientation of new staff, technologist, researchers, and students.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS- Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist- Satisfactory completion of formal technology training in an AMA approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR equivalent education/experience.
