Pine Gate Renewables is looking for a Sr IT Support Specialist who is responsible for providing advanced support for IT infrastructure and end-user devices. This role will troubleshoot complex issues, resolve incidents, and implement solutions to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. What You'll Do
Provide advanced technical support for IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage.Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, escalating issues as needed.Implement solutions to improve the performance, reliability, and security of IT systems.Monitor IT systems and proactively identify and address potential issues.Provide training and guidance to junior IT support staff.Provide excellent user experience through the ticketing queue.Solve complex technical issues for IT infrastructure and end-user devices.Support Microsoft environments and services.Must-Haves
3 or more years' experience in IT support preferred.Proven experience providing high-quality technical support and customer service to end-users in various environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.Experience managing and responding to technical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.Expertise in diagnosing and repairing hardware malfunctions, including workstations, laptops, printers, and other equipment.Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, ensuring smooth functioning of software and minimizing disruptions to business processes.Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred.Work Environment
Preferred: Onsite in Asheville, NC; some remote work.
