License /Certification

Preferred: Professional certifications

Education

Preferred: BA/BS degree in a technology related field

Experience

Required: Minimum of three years in Information Technology with experience in database management, design, data analysis, automated reporting, and ad-hoc reporting; or Five years as a development programmer/analyst utilizing database techniques. Experience extracting data from electronic medical records.

Preferred: Experience with Soarian, Elmer, Soarian Financials, Soarian Support, eClinical Works, Cerner Millenium, and Tableau. Experience with SQL, , SSAS, , SSIS, SSRS, Excel, Report Writing Tools (Business Objects, Power BI, etc.), Analytical Tools (R, Python, etc.) MIDAS Health Analytics.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Must possess a high level of problem solving skills.

Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Knowledge of business processes and their interrelationships is desirable.

Knowledge of C#.Net, VBA, VB, OLE/ODBC preferred.

Ability to communicate and mentor data science interns

Department Specific Requirements

For Population Health Management, clear understanding of HEDIS measures, HRSA UDS measures and Quality Data Coding.

Performs structured data requirements analysis and data modeling in support of application development for relational and reporting databases.

Determines changes in physical database by analyzing project requirements identifying database characteristics, such as location, amount of space, and access

IF ASSIGNED TO POPULATION HEALTH MANAGEMENT DIVISION ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR:Advises Director of Population Health, Population Health Management Division, & Clinic Network Leadership in the creation, interpretation, validation and application of interactive dashboards to monitor and improve outcomes in patient care, service delivery, population health of patients and communities served and other strategic initiatives. Collaborates and advises ISS teams, in collaboration with Population Health Data Analytics Supervisor, in the development, editing, and validation of reports and dashboards using HealtheEDW to support Population Health Programs. Supports annual HRSA UDS reporting. Responds to queries and data analysis requests as needed for internal and external reporting. Supports the development of data architectures that support Population Health Program reporting requirements. Works collaboratively with Population Health Manager, Population Health Data Analytics Supervisor and Clinic Network Leadership teams to support delivery of required reporting needs. Works collaboratively with Database Administrators and Application teams to support delivery of Business and IT strategies. Works as a mentor/resource for the Data Analysts on the Population Health Data Team.Has working knowledge and understanding of HEDIS measures, quality data codes and how these affect claims processing and quality performance.

IF ASSIGNED TO QUALITY AND PATIENT SAFETY DEPARTMENT ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR:Works as a mentor/resource for the Midas functional Coordinators and/or other Kaweah Health staff

Pay Range$37.42 -$56.14
