Our greatness comes from the daily effort each employee puts in and the investment we make in developing industry professionals.Hartzell Aerospace Welding is looking for an eager Production QC Inspector to support our growing business on our weekend shift.Key Deliverables / Requirements of the Position:Accurate and timely inspection of parts using a variety of precision measuring tools (Romer Arm, CMM, Planar, hand tools, etc.)Understanding and using manufacturing ERP systems.Following instructions, procedures, specifications, and requirements for all jobs.Able to complete documentation properly and accurately according to HAW Quality standards.Interpreting customer drawings and performing inspection for conformanceCritical thinking to uphold quality requirements in a fast pace, dynamic environment.Preferred understanding of AS9100, ISO, and Nadcap requirements but not requiredAble to perform visual weld inspection preferred but not requiredAbility to perform part marking, pressure testing, and daily calibration activities, and other duties as assignedRequired Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED required1 2 years' experience in a Quality position in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of basic inspection gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.Understanding of drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T.Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.Ability to read, interpret, and follow customer specifications, internal procedures, safety policies, guidelines and work instructionsAble to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. if/when neededRequired Technical CompetenciesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient Computer Skillsa. Microsoft Officeb.
