Duties:
Work with Sam's Club leadership to build technology and statistical and analytical plans that improve the Sams Club product portfolio. Work with cross-functional partners such as software engineering, data engineering, product management, and statistical analysts to create analytical, statistical, and business intelligence solutions. Provide business intelligence solutions and statistical guidance to the team. Utilize expertise in business intelligence, data engineering, data visualization, data analytics, AB Testing, and cohort modeling to measure retail performance. Use advanced SQL to work on large multidimensional datasets. Use R or Python for data visualization and data processing.
Minimum education and experience required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 4 years of experience in an analytics related field;
OR
Master's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and 2 years of experience in an analytics related field.
Skills required:
Experience with advanced SQL to analyze data and connect data to various aspects of business plans. Experience with advanced statistical concepts using Tableau. Experience with visualization using Power BI. Experience with programming concepts using Python. Experience creating, maintaining, and debugging notebooks and pipelines in Databricks using SQL and Python. Experience using GCP and BigQuery for querying information. Experience using advanced Excel and VBA as required for ad hoc analysis. Experience creating technical presentations using PowerPoint.
Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range:
$168,110/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
