Focus: The Sr Systems Developer - M&E IT is responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of both new and existing custom applications in the Manufacturing & Engineering space. Incumbent will focus on the management and support of the custom applications, including end-user interaction, while managing code, releases and documentation.Sr Systems Developer - M&E IT Essential Job Functions:Manage all aspects of a select group of custom developed applications in the M&E IT space; Focus areas include manufacturing execution, engineering, and quality but may expand to othersDocument business requirements then design and develop custom applications to meet those needsCreate and manage interfaces between custom and non-custom applications, databases, and supporting systemsManage code and releasesMaintain and enhance existing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) code and interfaces working closely with the lead LIMS developerOversee contract developer work to ensure compliance with Olin standardsCreate and manage test scripts either manual or automated to validate system functionality and performanceParticipate in troubleshooting and support processes with others on the team for related applicationsManage application performance working closely with Infrastructure, Database and Security teamsSupport end users as needed directly or within Olin's ticketing solutionEnsure alignment to architecture and security standards
Sr Systems Developer - M&E ITMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree*; Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree preferredMinimum of 10 years of related information systems and development experienceExperience with 2 or more of the following: .NET (C# preferred), ASP.Net, API Integration, HRML/CSS, Java Script, MS SQL, Multi-Tiered Architecture, IIS configuration, Azure DevOpsFull-Stack development experience preferredExperience in gathering and documenting requirements, working within an enterprise setting with business and IT resourcesExperience with any of the following applications, preferred: Aspen Manufacturing and Execution Systems, Thermo Fisher LIMS, or SAPMust be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
