Person would be responsible for deployments on specific cloud platforms/container platforms, participating in all phases of the development, deployment and operational activities for Siemens ITAR customer's workloadsExperience:·       Minimum 10 years Teamcenter or other PLM/ALM experience, with at least 5+ years supporting a customer production environment deploymentResponsibilities:Configure and maintain containerized and non-containerized cloud hosted solutionsConfigure and manage monitoring, logging, alerting around infrastructure and applications   Improving the reliability of cloud hosted SaaS Solution and CI/CD pipeline deployments   Manage the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health with ongoing deploymentsEnsure customer workloads are configured and deployed properly and working as per SLASupport customer workload health and uptime round the clock configured using alertsConfigure the Application Performance monitoring Alerts and PagerDuty alertsSolve application specific tickets on priorityApply application & infrastructure patches on test, preproduction and production ServerInstall and configure application & infrastructure on Development, test, Preproduction and Production environmentConfigure and manage third parties deployed on environmentDocument root cause analysis of issuesReach out to Siemens GTAC for Product Issues and raise IRsCommunicate with customer and internal stakeholders on issue resolutionProvide workarounds to issuesDevelop Knowledge Management database for solved issuesRequired Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:Proactive, emphatic and approachable.Team player and problem solver.Effective communicator.Great attitude but a critical thinker.Creative and open minded.Degree in Computer Science or related field (Master / Bachelor level); Minimum experience 8 years  Knowledge of systems, networking, virtualization and containerization   Security & Compliance awarenessHands-on experience with Teamcenter and IntegrationsPublic clouds; AWS/Azure/GCP experience & certification preferredTeamcenter Installation in a distributed environmentTeamcenter custom template install using BMIDEDistributed FMS configurationDispatcher configurationActive Workspace Installation and ConfigurationNX and Solidedge CAD Integration Working experience in Perl/Batch ScriptsPreferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:AWS or similar Cloud platform knowledgeExperience with MCAD & ECAD Integration with Teamcenter or similar PLMknowledge of SQL Scriptingknowledge of deploying customization and configuration on production environmentMentoring of junior team membersUse Pareto or 5 Why or any other Industry technique for root cause analysisAbility to automate some of the repetitive tasksScripting knowledge would be usefulSecurity Clearance:This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
