Your expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care will be essential in assisting patients on their journey to recovery and improved mobility.
*Duties** Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.* Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises and modalities.* Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.* Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises.* Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress notes.* Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
*Experience*Candidates should possess a solid foundation in the following areas:* Medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.* Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to effectively assist in patient treatment.* Experience in outpatient settings or home health care is preferred.* Familiarity with geriatric care principles and practices is advantageous.* Skills in trigger point therapy and other therapeutic techniques are a plus.* Previous experience in skilled nursing facilities is beneficial but not required.
