*Duties** Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs.* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.* Provide hands-on therapy techniques to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.* Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and health management strategies.* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.* Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.* Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in physical therapy practices.
*Skills** Strong knowledge of human physiology and biomechanics.* Experience in various settings such as clinic, home health, inpatient, geriatrics, pediatrics, and orthopedics is preferred.* Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.* Ability to develop comprehensive discharge planning strategies for patients transitioning from therapy.* Proficient in utilizing physical therapy systems for documentation and patient management.* Strong problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs effectively.* Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on improving quality of life through rehabilitation.
