Job Description:ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position in Reading, Pennsylvania. This role is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment, providing services that help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students ranging from preschool to high school age. Your work will involve collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create individualized treatment plans that align with students' needs and educational goals.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.Develop and implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals for students.Provide direct speech therapy services based on IEPs and monitor student progress.Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success.Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided.Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences.Stay current with best practices and state/federal regulations for speech-language therapy.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.Valid Pennsylvania SLP License or ability to obtain one before starting.ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.Prior experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
