Seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join a team of Transplant Surgeons, Hepatologists, Nephrologists, Advanced Practitioners and House Staff, to provide and coordinate multidisciplinary care for a specialized patient population, just north of Boston, MA.

- The Nurse Practitioner will co-manage hepatology, liver transplant and live donor liver patients in a teaching facility.
- Under the direction of an attending physician, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing various preoperative, postoperative and medical care in the outpatient setting: formulation and implementation of a diagnosis and treatment plan, ordering and interpretation of laboratory tests, imaging studies, consults in the hepatology and transplant populations, prescribing and/or dispensing medications, educational counseling for patients and families.
- Candidate must possess sufficient flexibility and motivation to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where quality and caring come first.
- The ability to interact positively with various members of the multidisciplinary team, patients and their families is paramount to the success of this role.
- Practitioners should have at least one year (but preferably three years) of Advanced Practice experience
