Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months

Support Staff: 1 MA, 1 Rad Tech

Coverage Type: Urgent Care

Schedule Details: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday; 9:00 AM 5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday

Work Details:

• EMR/Charting Software: EPIC
• Avg. Daily Census: 20-30
• Patient Age Group: 6 months to adult
• Procedures: Suturing, splinting, casting, I&D abscess (superficial), superficial FB removal, Gyn exams, ocular evaluations (including fluorescein and topical analgesia), COVID testing, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
• Additional Details: Provider may need to work at a nearby Urgent Care facility 20 minutes away. Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting is required. Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred.

Requirements:

• Board Certifications Required/Preferred: PANCE or NP certified
• State License(s): NC
• Certifications: BLS
