Job DetailsJob LocationLas Vegas - LAS VEGAS, NVPosition TypeFull TimeSalary Range$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 SalaryJob Posting Date(s)Start Date10/30/2024DescriptionKonami Gaming is looking for a Systems Implementation Specialist to join our team!The Systems Implementation Specialist is responsible for being a technical expert on Konami's Casino Management System (SYNKROS) in regard to implementations, conversions, upgrades, Betas, User-Acceptance Testing (UAT) and trainings for customers and internal staff. Additionally, the Systems Implementation Specialist II is responsible for performing Operational Audits in order to configure customer system requirements, as well as review system configurations during official Configuration Reviews with the customers. The Systems Implementation Specialist is responsible for planning, monitoring, and executing assigned project tasks to ensure a timely & successful completion of each project, a high level of customer satisfaction, and the fulfillment of company goals and objectives set for each assigned project.What you'll be doing:Act as the technical lead with responsibility for project implementation with responsibility for systems troubleshooting of peripherals & workstations, interface setup and SYNKROS/Konami software installation. Assist Project Managers in development, coordination, and execution of project scopes, meetings, site surveys, project review, and resource management in order to ensure all contractual obligations are met.Identify, escalate, and resolve all critical issues in order to ensure project milestones are met.Provide customer and internal trainings that demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Adult Learning Theory and technical aptitude of casino systems, peripherals, processes, and lifecycles. Conduct training on new features, enhancements, and upgrades for Konami customers and internal staff.Provide in-depth, comprehensive training on SYNKROS system/functionality and Konami products.Partner with the Client Project Managers and the Systems Professional Services Team to provide customer training and support during SYNKROS installations, conversions, and upgrades.Conduct Operational Audits onsite/remote in order to document features/functionality required by the customer, in order to configure SYNKROS.Serve as the Technical Lead during client Configuration Reviews in order to confer & validate system setup based on the Operational Audit.Partner with Sales and Systems Professional Services Team to ensure training is aligned with customer requirements and expectations.Configure & test system configurations in order to maximize efficiency & provide operational consistency.Assist in regular testing and maintenance of training database and peripherals to ensure they are current and in good working condition. Set up and maintain training environment, trade shows and facilities at Konami as needed. Act as liaison & technical resource to customer and 3rd party vendors. Assist and recommend processes/best practices/support customer's technical staff to ensure that all technical aspects of the project are executed.Train and coach new System Implementation Specialists.Other duties as assigned. Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbal and written with all levels of the business.Required to obtain and retain Gaming licensure(s).Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of networking, databases, computer operation, and hardware and software troubleshooting.Knowledge of casino management system front-end applications and back-end architecture.Additional Requirements:High travel necessary. 75-80%, or as business requires. Employee must be flexible to the travel needs of the business. Must possess a valid driver's license.Work Environment:Full-time / 40+ hours per week. Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Position shall work primarily in a smoke free office environment. The noise level is low to moderate. Position shall maintain a cubicle or office in close proximity to other cubicles and offices. Must be comfortable working in an area with limited working space for long hours with the ability to remain seated at computer terminal for extended periods of time. Extreme repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Must be able to work at assigned location to enable direct communications and interactions with team members, management, and others as necessary, unless traveling for a business-related purpose.Position must attend monthly Field Research trips to casinos or as needed. Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
