As a Director II Sales - SLED, you will be responsible for all aspects of sales within the encompassing business product portfolio within State, local Government and Education Sales. Staff and directs a sales team, providing leadership to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.Location

The candidate for this role must reside in one of the following locations:CaliforniaOregonWashingtonThe Main Responsibilities

Manage the sale of entire product portfolio including Cloud, Managed Services, Datacenter and Voice solutions to meet revenue targets based on rolled-up quota of sales team.Perform account planning and positioning for Strategic Accounts in SLED vertical.Responsible for quota attainment, realigning modules of accounts, and meeting/exceeding monthly sales objectives while delivering outstanding service to customers.Train, coach, mentor, motivate and conduct formal performance reviews for team of 6-8 sales representatives in SLED accounts.Manage active learning plans and facilitate daily, monthly and yearly sales results objectives for sales team.Responsible for day-to-day sales activity management, funnel activity, territory management, and customer-focused sales efforts for a team of SLED sales executives with strong funnel discipline and forecasting.Participate in community and industry-related events to further develop opportunities to procure new business.Work cross-functionally with a variety of business leaders and other direct and indirect sales channels.Overall financial tracking, revenue recognition as well as forecasting responsibilities for the team.What We Look For in a Candidate

Basic RequirementsMinimum 5 years sales management experience in telecommunications or a technology-based industry.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and sales performance/tracking programs.Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.Must be able to travel at least 25%.Preferred Experience5+ years telecom or related technology sales experience.Experience in building strategic plans for sales team growth and development including account and activity planning and development.Experience mentoring, training and developing high-performance sales teams.Successful completion of the Sales Manager assessment.Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.Location Based Pay Ranges$136,440 - $181,920 in these states: OR$142,940 - $190,580 in these states: CA WAAs with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.What to Expect Next
