Job Details
Prepares financial statements, including 10-Q and 10-K, verifying all transactionsand disclosures are in compliance with GAAP and the Securities and ExchangeCommission ( SEC )Develops and implements XBRL processesAssists in managing SOX policies and controls and review processes related tointernal controls over financial reporting
Prepares and assists with compliance reporting for banks, investors, and otherregulators
Supports external auditors of prepared financial statementsAnalyzes variance schedules on balance sheet and income statement, including preparing documentation for and writing MD&AAssists with developing internal accounting policies and proceduresResearch technical accounting issues as they arise and prepares memo documentation to support research, analyses, and conclusionEnsures compliance with and maintain analyses and action plans of new accounting pronouncements and standards and SEC guidance, including documenting the company's positionsMinimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting2-4+ years of audit experience in Big Four or large accounting firm and/or SEC financial reporting within industryStrong knowledge of GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606) and leasing (ASC 842)Strong research and documentation skillsPreferred Qualifications
CPA or progression toward CPAStrong proficiency in Vena, SalesForce and/or FinancialForce a plusAdditional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong proficiency in Excel and WordAbility to analyze and interpret data and think outside the boxAbility to manage multiple assignments while working under pressure and time constraintsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExtreme attention to detailSelf-motivatorResult oriented, proactive, and possess a high level of integrity
