The Warehouse Associate performs a variety of duties to move products and material in and out of a warehouse or distribution center by loading and unloading vehicles and storing, picking and pulling stock. In addition, the Warehouse Associate assists in the areas of shipping and receiving as needed.
Unload incoming products and move product off of vehiclesVerify amount of product received with packing list, inspect products for damage, sign documents and forward to office for processingRestock products using a put away suggestion or movement sheet and maintain current physical inventory check on products within assigned areasAccurately pick and pull stock from assigned areas according to customers' orders using a forklift or pickerHand stack, palletize, label and properly prepare and pack products for safe and secure shipmentCheck accuracy of others' work and verify customer orders are complete and that the correct products have been picked and staged prior to loading products onto vehiclePrepare vehicles for loading by removing all material from vehiclesLoad product onto vehicles in route sequence using loading documentsCount products and reconcile counts to ensure inventory levels are accurateProcess returned products by matching product with corresponding documents and replacing product in proper bin locationNotify supervisor of damage, shortages or concerns with products or equipmentMaintain forklifts, trucks and other equipment and perform safety checksClean and maintain warehouse and yardFollow safe practices and Company's safety policies and proceduresReport to work as scheduled and work overtime as business needs dictateWork cooperatively with co-workers and other departments to provide assistance as neededPerform additional duties as required and requested
