is seeking an experienced

General Manager

for one of our Corporate Services accounts located in

Summit, NJ.

In this highly visible role, you will direct and participate in all of the daily food service operations for our full-service Cafe, Catering and Coffee Service, and an additional satellite micro-market. Responsibilities will include: managing budgets and all unit financials, training and development of the hourly and management teams, strategic planning, payroll, HR functions, catering and direct client interaction, and supervision of up to 30 non-union hourly associates and a team of culinary managers.The successful candidate will have at least 5 years leading food service operations, strong financial acumen, the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations, computer literacy, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. Prior experience successfully managing a P&L account in a corporate dining setting would be a definite plus for this role!Key Duties Include:Provides team leadership & trainingControls unit financialsDirects daily food operations for quality & safety standardsSupervises day to day activitiesDelegates authorityAssigns & prioritizes activitiesMonitors operating standardsEstablishes a safe work environmentSupports workplace inclusion activitiesWe are looking for candidates who have:A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceExperience managing a management team both front-of-house and back-of-houseFinancial acumen, experience with creating and managing budgetsExperience training and directing a talented and diverse staffInnovation and ability to grow revenue and manage costCustomer driven and strong track record in organizational developmentSuperior client relations skills and executive presenceExperience working with food management systemsThe salary range for this position is $90-105k annually.What We Offer:Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
