Reporting to the Provost, the Vice Provost of Institutional Research and Analysis will serve as a leader in advancing the University's desire to better fulfill its mission through a robust use of data and data-informed decision making. This position will coordinate institutional research and analysis, survey research, university assessment and evaluation, institutional compliance reporting, data governance, and other projects to ensure operations and future strategic and budgetary plans align with sound analytical data and continuous improvement.The Vice Provost is responsible for leading and managing a team of highly engaged and experienced research and data administration professionals to execute a complex and dynamic set of projects with competing deadlines and priorities. The Vice Provost works collaboratively across the institution to identify, define, and prioritize institutional research and assessment that supports enrollment planning, faculty instructional workload, instructional costs and academic productivity, peer benchmarking, student metrics, academic and non-academic program review and evaluation, and university accreditation. This individual leverages data to provide analysis, insights, and recommendations related to all aspects of university operations, planning, quality improvement, and decision-making.Minimum Education and/or Work Experience:
A Master's in research methods or a field related to social sciences, measurement, or quantitative methods. Ten years of higher education experience involving a combination of strategic planning, program review, outcomes assessment, and institutional research.Qualifications:A Master's in research methods or a field related to social sciences, measurement, or quantitative methods.Ten years of higher education experience involving strategic planning, program review, outcomes assessment, data governance, and institutional research.Ability to credibly develop and deploy staff to advance the institution's goals.Evidence of a focus on the ethical use of data.Content expertise in research design and statistical methodologies that include both qualitative and quantitative approaches.Experience providing leadership concerning data policy, governance, access, integration, and standards.Demonstrated success in presenting data and analyses clearly and accurately in verbal, digital, and written formats.Proven ability to work in partnership with university senior leadership to enhance data-informed planning and strategic university initiatives.Preferred:Experience with reporting and visualization platforms.Experience with data governance initiatives and tools.Experience with data management and mining, predictive analytics, and modeling.Understanding of complexities inherent in large, multi-campus university systems.Certificates/Credentials/Licenses:

Proficient in Microsoft Office, programming, database management, and cloud computing. Familiar with data analysis, networking fundamentals, and project management.Supervisory Responsibilities:
