Director Market Access Strategy, Oncology

The purpose of the Director Market Access Strategy Oncology is to provide regional support for Market Access strategy development for select Oncology franchise products and drive development of related tactics including rollout to Field Account Managers. This role will also represent Market Access in strategic planning meetings with Oncology Franchise Leadership.

Please Note: This position is based out of our Whippany, NJ Pharma HQ. This is not a remote/residence based role.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Director Market Access Strategy Oncology, are to:

Drive development of market access marketing programs, tactics and account management resources in support of the ONC portfolio.

Represent market access in strategic planning meetings with ONC Franchise leadership.

Collaborate with Account Management to identify key customer segment insights and innovative opportunities for customer engagement.

Direct vendors, budget and PRT submittals and ensure approvals for all Market Access ONC tactics.

Ensure all programs and activities are conducted in accordance with Bayer Legal and Compliance policies, clinical strategies, and Pharma industry regulations.

Measure program and tactic impact where applicable and iterate/suggest modifications as needed.

Drive rollout of all Market Access related programs and tactics for ONC brands.

Identify opportunities to support ONC product commercialization that are aligned with brand strategy, continuously striving for innovation.

Develop quarterly business updates to keep Market Access functional teams informed of brand performance and areas of focus.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree;

Related work experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare industry required;

Launch experience required;

Experience identifying needs of account management team and driving the development of market access tools and tactics in support of brands;

Deep knowledge of US healthcare environment;

Ability to estimate project costs and manage projects within budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Degree preferred;

8+ years of Industry experience is preferred;

Market access marketing experience is preferred;

GPO marketing experience preferred;

Oncology Launch experience preferred;
