Responsibilities: Manage day to day operations of the assigned project management team. Manage project resources (internal and external) and ensure professional project management through engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, commissioning, and testing. Oversee and/or manage deliverables required for capital markets team to effectively meet project finance requirements. Oversee and/or review project schedules, cost estimates, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, and contract/subcontract documents. Manage all aspects of assigned team members to meet client and business plan expectations and objectives. Oversee processes, rules, and policies to ensure compliance with applicable company policies, standards, and specifications. Oversee project implementation to ensure cost, time, quality, and performance objectives are achieved. Working together with (internal and external) team of specialists and actively participate in advancing and/or developing project standards.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate four-year degree in technical area (project management, engineering, technology, sciences, or mathematics), or equivalent work experience.

Capable of overseeing and/or managing design, development and permitting activities with multiple types of energy projects.

Competent / experienced in contract negotiations.

Advanced understanding of the technical, financial, and contractual aspects of the Distributed Generation business.

Understanding of project management and project controls in an engineering and construction environment.

Project implementation experience required in the US solar/distributed generation/BESS market.

Strengths in time management, project development, follow-up, and execution.

Preferred, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or working knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge.

Experience managing a team of engineers, program managers or similar technical sales oriented sole contributors within the distributed generation/BESS market.

Strong client-focus with well-developed customer relations skills; customer-facing and ability to represent the organization in a professional manner.

Well experienced utilizing MS tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Fundamental understanding of the technical, financial and contractual aspects of the Distributed Generation business.

Excellent decision making, risk management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in handling high stress situations where tact and cooperation are crucial to cost-effective operation.

Knowledge of engineering and construction practices in solar retrofit / renovation applications obtained through demonstrated experience.
