Kindly respond with your most up to date resume if you would like to pursue this opportunity.Senior Business Analyst Level 5 Position DescriptionSeeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with the Client Grants Management System known as NexSys. The Client Grants Management System is comprised of about 130-140 different grant applications that is responsible for over 2 billion dollars of payments to state educational entities.Business AnalystWe are looking for someone who understands and has experience with the software development lifecycle as they will be managing work requests to support operational support needs for web applications and gather requirements for project initiatives. This role is the liaison between the technical team and the business client. This will be about 90% of the time for this resource. This is a senior position so the selected candidate will possess leadership skills including but not limited to the ability to delegate tasks to the team, effective communication and being able to lead a team of business analysts and be comfortable leading requirement meetings with business and other technical resources.Tasks:Facilitates meetings with the technical team and business client.Gathers requirements and project specifications by leading requirement sessions independentlyMaintain backlog of work items in Azure DevOpsManage project tasks, timelines, and communication between business product owner and development team associated with the Change Management lifecycleTrack sprints and ticket progress in Azure DevOpsEnsures the team is adhering to the department change management policiesActs as a liaison with State of Michigan auditorsMaintains documentation on the project SharePoint Site.Must be detail oriented and a critical thinkerProvide management with information such as project status reports and resource demand projections.Skill Required / Desired Required Years of experienceExposure to Complex IT web Applications, within the past 5 years -Required 5 YearsExperience in gathering and documenting business requirements -Required 5 YearsExperience in a role, as a business analyst, supporting a software development project, in the past 5 years -Required 5 YearsAbility to lead meetings, conduct training & information sessions, communicate at a level appropriate to the audience, make oral and written reports and presentations -Required 5 YearsProficiency with MS Office -Required 3 YearsExperience working as a liaison between the development team and project manager or business client in a software development project - Required 2 YearsExperience with Azure DevOps; including creating User Stories and queries -Required 1 YearKnowledge and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle -Highly Desired 2 YearsProject management skills and knowledge in project management and related methodologies -Highly Desired 6 MonthsExperience with Microsoft SharePoint - Highly Desired 6 MonthsTHIRD PARTY CANDIDATES:Email your candidate/s resume to jb dot resumes at idealforce.com along with the following details: Rate, Current location and AvailabilityDisclaimer : The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
