Your expertise in critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and programming languages will be essential in turning raw data into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities:
Effectively manage a team of analysts that provides influential data visuals for Operational Review KPIs presentations
As a player-coach, create PowerBi dashboards with the analyst team to visualize descriptive KPIs and predictive models as needed
Be the point person in Product Analytics for all forecasting & modeling needs for client engagement, profitability, and client retention. Identify drivers of behaviors in client journeys - understand what events are most important to track to mitigate risk of poor client experience & increase client value
Create & continuously improve forecasting models of product expense & revenue in collaboration with Product Managers & Finance partners for GPM products’ cost of goods sold (COGS) analyses
Help Product Managers create COGS forecast estimates based on proposed product innovation options they want to assess. Support 3-year revenue & expense projection forecasts in partnership with Finance as needed
Support Product Mix 3-year forecasts for GPM Product Managers in collaboration with Finance partners. Regularly suggest insight improvement ideas during team meetings
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s and/or Doctoral degree strongly preferred. Degrees with a concentration in statistics, data science, operations research, or finance preferred
12-14 years progressive analytics experience, preferably in a strategy, business intelligence, or consulting role
Preferred experience in SaaS software environment, product management, or IT. Modeling and forecasting experience a must. Familiarity with relational databases and SQL coupled with facility with programming languages, statistical packages, and BI tools a must. Results-oriented with excellent ability to translate questions into insight and know what questions will likely arise next to drive insight improvement
Strong data literacy skills - ability to communicate effectively preferred
Exceptional problem solving: Proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story to influence senior level stakeholders.
Demonstrated thought leadership with high business impact throughout career
