In this role, you'll craft stories about the battlefield exploits of helmet-haired, slobbering Barbarians, the budding romance between a gumball machine droid and a sharp-shooting lady, and chickens... well, they "chicken" in ways you never imagined! Partnering with our eclectic ensemble of artists and creatives, you'll dream up quirky product collaborations and unforgettable experiences that infuse our worlds and characters with fresh, enchanting energy beyond the confines of our games. Your mission? To stitch the fabric of our brand's voice into every project, ensuring our audience is left asking themselves, "What the hell was that?" in the most positive of ways.

Our Entertainment & Partnerships (E&P) team is responsible for strengthening our franchises’ place in popular culture, entertaining our existing fans, and attracting new ones.
Responsibilities
Your core responsibility is to own and deliver all copy related aspects of the following:
Franchise Building Blocks
Development of comprehensive guidelines utilized by our partners, encompassing all facets of our Franchises, such as brand positioning, tone and voice, world and character descriptions, and more.
Creative Sparks
Development of creative briefs for Film & TV projects that inspire industry talent.
Collaborate with internal teams and industry talent to guide story ideas, ensuring they remain faithful to and expand upon our Franchises.
Brainstorm ideas for unique product collaborations and real-world experiences that can help generate buzz and reach new audiences.
Sales and Marketing Materials
Development and execution of multi-media B2B campaigns showcasing our Franchises and all they offer in partnership with other businesses.
Development and execution of multi-media B2C campaigns to promote Film & TV releases, product collaborations, and other E&P related projects.
Wide Variety of Creative Copy Needs
Pitch decks, brand bibles, etc.
Copy for social posts, PR, etc.
Copy needs for Consumer Products packaging, retail marketing, etc.
Requirements
10+ years of professional experience with entertainment IPs and/or consumer-facing brands as a Copywriter.
A fresh creative portfolio that showcases bold ideas and exceptional copywriting skills across a variety of mediums, including video, social content, stunts, and more.
Strong command of the English language and high attention to detail, with the ability to spot typos and grammar mistakes as well as write engaging copy in a variety of tones and styles.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with character-driven entertainment franchises.
Experience in sketch comedy, humor writing, or improv.
Intangibles
Passion for entertainment and pop culture.
Proactive doer and self-starter.
Strong team player.
Nice to have: a passion for gaming.
Benefits and CompensationWhile the salary range based on your background, skills, and experience for this position is $156,000 – $234,000, your financial compensation model also consists of an annual bonus, RSU equity, and 401k.However, luring you in with glitter, glamour, and gems is not what we seek to do.
