Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic B2B Event Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience to oversee and execute all aspects of our conferences and in-person events across North America. Reporting to the Vice President, North America Marketing, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing events from conception to completion, ensuring they align with our business goals and provide exceptional experiences for our attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with AMCS Group's business objectives. Research and select event themes, venues, and formats.
Project Management: Manage all logistics for events, including venue selection, contract negotiations, budgeting, and resource allocation. Create detailed project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure cohesive messaging and effective promotion of events.
Audience Engagement: Identify target audiences and develop strategies to attract attendees. Create engaging content for event programs, including speaker recruitment and management.
On-Site Management: Oversee all aspects of event execution, including setup, registration, and on-site logistics. Ensure a seamless experience for attendees, speakers, and sponsors.
Post-Event Analysis: Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess the success of events. Prepare post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements.
Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution while maximizing ROI.
Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.
Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B event management, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships with stakeholders.
Proficient in event marketing & sales software and tools – we use Salesforce & Pardot
Ability to travel as needed for events across North America.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
Interest in environmental industry a plus!
