My client, a growing and dynamic manufacturing/construction company, is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager. This role is onsite. The salary is up to $225,000 plus 50% target bonus. Permanent direct hire.
Responsibilities of the Plant Manager:
- Ensure continuous improvement throughout the team by planning, scheduling workloads and delivering completed projects on time
- Be out on the shop floor 90% of the time.
- Build a team and boost morale.
- Value consistency and integrity.
- Attend and participate in production meetings, create and manage multiple spreadsheets.
- Organize and manage multiple activities at once and forecast.
- Order shop consumables as needed.
- Attend meetings and be able to analyze data, suggest areas for improvement.
- Responsible for QC, ensuring jobs are produced accurately and meet standard of quality.
- Interview employees, hire and train employees; plan, assign, direct, and monitor production; appraise.
- Reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Manage timecards and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- Manufacturing plant management experience required.
