  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Strong computer, typing and 10-key skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends

Preferred qualifications:

  • Transportation experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Order stock and any immediate part needs and reconcile special order parts
  • Conduct inventory process such as cycle counts, reconcile and control
  • Assist mechanics with parts and supplies for the shop and equipment
  • Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing and responding to emails
  • Check parts for delivery accuracy, check-in parts and store appropriately
  • Process invoices by correcting any issues and submitting for payment as well as communicating payment updates
  • Check and reconcile reserve parts and non-moving parts on a monthly basis
  • Ensure parts room is clean and organized
  • Reconcile and address warranty items
  • Proactively identify orders that are in jeopardy of falling outside of planned events
  • Escalate issues as appropriate and notify the customer of orders that are in jeopardy of incurring assessorial costs and offer alternative solutions
  • Coordinate requests for service recovery, diversions and special handling

Customer Service Representatives are required to:

  • Walk and/or stand for extended periods on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled and may be slippery
